Do u refer to the BJP when u say voting for development? And the alliances mean Mahagathbandhan of the group of parties led by the Congress? It might not be possible for an ordinary person to answer the question about who wins the election but it is easy to say who OP will vote for.

I don't have good understanding of Bihar politics but as an outsider i would hope that Prashant Kishor wins to show that new people can win in India and not everyone is lost cause like Kejriwal and that motivates more honest people to think of joining.

Don't underestimate the power of 10000 bhik, godi media, propaganda, the fear of reservation even though we all see BJ P just smothering the shit out of meritocracy. Every reason targets a particular voter, and even just one reason is more than enough to keep things as they were.

I see Bihar as checkpoint of fascism, if NDA wins Bihar even after all these allegations, we will be ruled by BJ P for a long long time, we've a long road of suffering ahead of us. And we could never do Nepal, or Sri Lanks cz BJ P has crores of sympathisers.

I've always thought, that one of the reason BJP is so strong, is that they don't have another strong competition for their voter base (educated, high caste, right wing...whatever you wanna call it). 

If you look at LW votes, many parties are fighting each other for their vote share (congress, SP, DMK, AAP, Trinamool Congress...) congress have to fight other LW parties every time to get seats. So all of these parties eat into each other's vote share. 

On the other hand BJP does not have a strong competition for RW votes (except few regional parties like shiv Sena...). So less competition means, no other parties cut into BJP vote share and so eventually they come out on top. 

Only way to have a balanced election is to have another strong competition for RW votes. And in Bihar Jan Suraj is def doing that. Jan Suraj might not be RW, but they appeal to educated middle class (and high cast), that mostly always votes for BJP. So finally BJP have a strong competition (atleast in Bihar). This will make the result much more balanced imo.

This will be another election that shows how disconnected the left wing opposition from real voters. The average indian voter is 
1. Not on reddit
2. Not sauntering the halls of "elite" colleges
3. Doesn't care about speeches made in Columbia, Boston, or London

The BJP is politically at its weakest with little to show in terms of development and growth, but still the opposition will get spanked. 
Social media will be again filled with vote chori and allegations against election commission instead of actual introspection on why they cant win when every indicator is against the ruling party. Left wing has to listen to voices outside it's echo chamber for once.

You don't win the votes of people by non stop insulting their intelligence.
